I started this blog back in 2010. Over the years, the niche has shifted several times but one thing remained the same—its eclectic. Now, instead of trying to draw a box around one particular specialty, I focus on the feel instead.
Think luxury. A beautiful spot with purpose, that makes you feel peaceful and restored. A feeling rooted in faith and curated with intentional, affordable, and sustainable focus. A lifestyle that feels rich on the inside and out. If that seems like a place you’d like to spend some time, then Eclectic & Refined is the blog for you.
Rested. Refined. Restored. I hope this blog will inspire you and encourage you to be intentional with your own life. I’ll share timeless, secondhand soft luxury fashion, curated spaces filled with sustainable vintage or homemade decor, and a faith-centered approach to living well. Society persuades us to believe more is better, but I will share how living with less materialistic things allows us to truly embrace abundance in life.
About Me
I grew up in North Carolina. I love to travel, despite living only a half mile from my childhood home. I purchased a fixer-upper farmhouse in 2018 where I now have a small hobby farm. In college, I studied studio art and design, earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts. I worked in the creative field for over 10 years before I eventually made a career shift into healthcare. I earned my Master of Health Administration and my PhD in Leadership.
